MICHAEL CATONE is undoubtably one of the areas best and most versatile drummers! He also doubles up on lead and backing vocals to round out the choir. Mike comes to us from the Western New York Area where he has played in cover bands in clubs since the wee-tender age of 13!! For 25 years, as a fine wine, his “CHOPS” have aged to perfection, creating the ‘groove-rock-pocket’ needed to pound the kick drum through your chest! Mike has also shared the stage with artists such as Eddie Money, The Beach Boys, Blues Traveler, April Wine and Blue Oyster Cult.

CATEGORY THREE is a high energy, upbeat, danceable rock party band.  Playing all your favorite tunes, putting new spins on some, and then some!
"Get on the dance floor
AND bang your head!"
One of Tampa Bays best guitarists, frontman GARY SCHUTT, originally from New York state, comes from being the sideman in two Tampa Bay cover bands, the widely popular DISCO INFERNO and THE UNTOUCHABLES.  The time has come for Gary to step forth and take over! Gary has released 6 solo CD's on his own and has toured the world with former Yngwie Malmsteen and Journey vocalist JEFF SCOTT SOTO. During his career, Gary has performed with , Neal Schon (Journey), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Dave Meniketti (Y&T), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Doug Aldrich (Dio, Whitesnake),  Joe Travers (Duran Duran, Dweezil Zappa), Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol), Bryan Beller (Dweezil Zappa, Steve Vai,), Mars Cowling (Pat Travers), to name a few.
KEVIN ROTHNEY has been slamming on bass guitar and lead vocals for over 22 years.  Kevin and Gary's super strong voices carry the band beyond the "single frontman" band stereotype.  He has toured the world with both former lead singer for the heavy metal band SAVATAGE.  His first taste of the world stage was with Zak Stevens in CIRCLE II CIRCLE.  Since 2004 Kevin has been on the road and in the studio with Jon Oliva's new band, JON OLIVA'S PAIN.
Gary and Mike welcome Kevin to the world of our passion for music, entertaining and silliness!
